Hot tubs in Llucmajor and Sa Torre
Llucmajor is the biggest municipality on the island and most of it is flat, with large plots in Sa Torre, Son Verí Nou and Cala Blava and coastal villas at Cala Pi and Sa Ràpita. Space is not the constraint here, which is why the biggest spas and swim spas in our range end up in Llucmajor.
Delivery notes for Llucmajor & Sa Torre
Sa Torre, Son Verí Nou and Bahía Grande are urbanisations with wide streets and level drives, where the lorry gets to the terrace gate and a trolley does the rest. Cala Pi villas sit on the cliff edge with the terrace on the sea side, and a crane from the road is sometimes needed. Fincas off the Ma-19 toward Campos have long drives and open ground; the town of Llucmajor itself has narrow streets around the Plaça but houses with gardens are mostly on the edge.
Big plots, big spas
A Sa Torre plot is often a thousand square metres with a pool, a lawn and a terrace that can take a 7-seater without looking crowded. The Serra 6 and the Mar 7 are the hot tubs we fit most here, and the Nedar 5.9 Dual swim spa, with a swim zone and a separate spa zone at different temperatures, goes onto plots where a second pool would be too much and a lap pool too cold.
The slab
Every swim spa and most large hot tubs here go onto a new slab, 85 to 110 euros per square metre, poured a week before delivery. A Nedar 5.9 full weighs around 12 t. We check the ground and pour it ourselves, so base and spa are one responsibility.
Sea and cliff
Cala Pi and Cala Blava villas face the open south with the sea 20 m below, and they get salt and the migjorn wind without shelter. Stainless fixings, UV-stable cabinets and covers strapped at four corners are the standard spec, and a pergola or windbreak from 3,200 euros makes a cliff terrace usable in a blow. Sa Ràpita and S'Estanyol are lower and gentler.
Power
Larger spas need more current: 32 A for a Mar 7, 50 A for the Nedar 5.9, on a dedicated RCD line. Most Sa Torre houses have the contracted power, but the run across a big plot is often 20 to 30 m and buried, in the 850 to 1,200 euro band.
Water
Llucmajor mains water is hard, and fincas toward Campos are on wells that can be brackish. We test on the day.
Second homes and rentals
Many houses in Sa Torre and Cala Pi are second homes or holiday lets. The app, a lockable cover and a holiday check plan from 45 euros a visit cover the weeks nobody is there, and a water change from 180 euros before each arrival keeps rental guests happy and the reviews clean.
