Spa BalearHot tubs and swim spas, Mallorca

Terms of sale

Last updated: 7 October 2026

Scope

These terms apply to quotes and sales of hot tubs, swim spas, terraces, accessories and services by Spa Balear to customers in the Balearic Islands.

Quotes and orders

Website prices are indicative until confirmed in a written quote. A quote is valid for 30 days. An order is placed when you accept the quote in writing and pay the deposit it states, normally 30% for in-stock models and 50% for made-to-order models. The balance is due on the day of installation, before handover.

Delivery and installation

Delivery dates are estimates given in good faith. Standard installation assumes ground-level access, a level base able to carry the full weight, and an electrical supply as specified in the quote. Extra work discovered on the day (for example a crane, a longer cable run, or an unsuitable base) is agreed with you before it is done and charged at the rates in the quote or the price builder.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for any permission your community of owners or local council requires, and for confirming that a raised or roof terrace can carry the weight. We can arrange a structural check for a fee.

Warranty

Unless the quote states otherwise: 5 years on the shell against leaks, 2 years on pumps, heater and controls, 1 year on covers and accessories, in addition to your legal guarantee rights as a consumer under Spanish law (3 years from delivery). The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship, not damage from freezing, misuse, incorrect water chemistry, running the spa empty, or work by third parties.

Cancellation

For purchases concluded at a distance, consumers may cancel within 14 days of delivery as Spanish consumer law provides, except for goods made to your specification. Return transport of a delivered spa is at your cost. Deposits for made-to-order models are non-refundable once production has started.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the price paid for the goods or services concerned. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

Law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Subject to your mandatory rights as a consumer, the courts of Palma de Mallorca have jurisdiction.
