Delivery notes for Son Vida
Driveways in Son Vida are wide, gates are electric and the lorry can usually back right up to the terrace, so most installations are a standard ground-level delivery with a trolley. The exceptions are pool terraces one level down from the drive, where a small crane over the garden wall is quicker and safer than wrestling a 500 kg shell down steps. Security at the gatehouse needs your name and ours the day before, and we bring the vehicle registration with us.
Large villas, large spas
The typical Son Vida brief is a 5 to 7 seater with two loungers, set on a pool terrace with a view across the fairways, or a swim spa for a family that wants exercise without a second pool. The Mar 7 is the most requested hot tub here and the Nedar 5.9 Dual the most requested swim spa. Both are made to order, 6 to 8 weeks, so the planning usually starts with the terrace design rather than the delivery date.
Terraces that match the house
Few customers in Son Vida want a spa standing on its cabinet in the open. Most ask for a sunken or half-sunken installation finished in the same stone as the pool surround, with a composite or stone step and a cover lifter that disappears when the lid is off. Our team does the terrace and the spa together, which avoids the usual gap between a builder who has never set a spa and an installer who has never set stone.
Power and water
A Signature spa needs 32 A on a dedicated line with its own RCD, and a Nedar swim spa 40 to 50 A. Houses here normally have the contracted power already, but the run from the cuadro eléctrico to the far end of the garden can be 30 m or more, which puts you in the 850 to 1,200 euro band for the line. Mains water in this part of Palma is hard, and we size the pre-filter and calcium treatment accordingly.
Second homes and staff
Many Son Vida houses are occupied for part of the year, with staff or a property manager in between. We set the app up so the owner can see temperature and alarms from abroad, and the holiday check plan from 45 euros a visit keeps the water right during the empty months.
Noise
Plots are big, but a pump on a still evening carries. Signature full-foam insulation keeps the Mar models quiet, and we face the equipment bay away from the nearest house.
